• Don's coffee table book, Courage: The Early Aviators 1910 - 1940, has been well received. The work, which tells the stories of fourteen significant aviators, is presented in the form of prose poems, photos, and illustrations. The process now involves finding the right publisher. • Don's latest novel, Allan, Burning, is considered by many to be another firm foundation for a Hollywood winner. In the book, Allan Daniels, an architect and pilot, faces a mid-life crisis and must reassess his sense of values and ethics after his seaplane goes down in the eerie swamps of Florida. He confronts a disintegrating marriage, homicide, and the loss of new love.
